Our Cape Cottage candle is a tribute to the historic stone farmsteads of the Langkloof. It captures the stillness of a late afternoon on a sun-drenched veranda, where the delicate, cultivated scents of the garden drift into the rugged, aromatic soul of the mountain fynbos.

The scent begins with the heady, moonlight sweetness of climbing Jasmine, softened by the honeyed, herbal notes of Karoo Duckfoot (Pentzia dentata) blooming at the garden’s edge. This heritage floral opening is grounded by the wilder, balsamic green of the rare Kouga Malva and the sun-baked, golden hay aroma of Honey Imphepho (Helichrysum patulum) drifting in from the surrounding mountain slopes.

Each candle is housed in a vessel featuring original South African watercolour artwork, reflecting the romantic intersection of cottage flora and the ancient sandstone peaks of the Langkloof. Poured with a commitment to purity, we use only biodegradable soy wax and 100% pure essential oils to ensure a clean, authentic aromatic experience.
